Bangladesh Bank (BB) has withdrawn the new Tk 50 note Wednesday as soon as a spelling mistake of Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin on it was identified. BB took the decision on Wednesday evening after a news published in the online news portal banglanews24.com identifying the mistake. Confirming the matter to banglanews, Director-General of BB Governor Secretariat AFM Asaduzzaman said: “These note will not be circulated in the market before rectifying.”
